Job Description

As an Inghams Assistant Hotel Manager you will assist the Hotel Manager with guest and staff welfare and ensure the smooth overall running of the Chalet Hotel.  You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of property presentation, cleanliness and service, as well as supervising staff and organising shifts.

You will manage the restaurant, housekeeping, reception and bar, under the guidance of the Hotel Manager, providing accurate reports where necessary.  You will therefore need to be a confident and outgoing person with excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team.

As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical indoor and outdoor duties throughout the season, and to fully support the Chalet Hotel and chalet programmes.

Required Experience:

  • Staff management and customer service experience essential
  • At least 3 years'/seasons' experience within the hotel/tour operations industry
  • Restaurant and housekeeping experience essential
  • Supervisory and stock control experience desireable
  • Good command of French, German or Italian advantageous
  • Full clean driving licence desirable
  • EU passport holders only, with UK permanent address and UK permanent National Insurance number
